Keenan Development is pleased to have completed its third Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The EUL site is the William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, S.C., one of the most beautiful and recognizable campus settings in the state. Keenan Development has now completed a total of eight EULs.

The master plan for the proposed 28.05-acre development includes a 110,000 square-foot Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) regional headquarters facility, the construction of which has already been completed.  In addition to the VBA headquarters, research, classroom, office facilities and programs on the campus will be expanded.

The EUL site is highly visible and accessible.  Employees and visitors have access to convenient, secure surface parking.  Sight lines run throughout the parking areas to ensure ample visibility.  Green spaces and lawns surround the buildings, with a premium placed on the conservation of existing large diameter trees.  All design features for the buildings honor the pedestrian-friendly nature of the medical center's campus.
